Westpoint Sandton Prime is well located with comfortable apartments, but can do much better. Positive: Westpoint Sandton Prime is ideally located, offering easy access to everything Johannesburg has to offer. The staff are friendly, and the apartment is neat, comfortable, and well maintained. Negative: As a self-catering apartment, it lacked some essential items required to cater properly. For example, there were no basin plugs in the kitchen, which made washing dishes difficult until I went out and purchased plugs myself. We were without water for two days, which was extremely uncomfortable, particularly as basic bathroom facilities were unusable. While I understand that this issue was caused by Johannesburg Water and is not directly the fault of the accommodation, water and electricity interruptions are well-known in the city. In light of this, one would expect the building to be better prepared for such eventualities, as many nearby buildings are, through the installation of water tanks or similar backup systems.
